Historic Triumph at BEA World Festival: Grand Prix to NOSLEEP and Gjensidige

Norway’s event industry hit a major milestone when NOSLEEPTILLBROOKLYN and Gjensidige won the prestigious Grand Prix at this year’s BEA World Festival in Rome, often called the “World Cup of Events.” It marks the first time a Norwegian agency has received the top honor. The award recognized Pauserommet, a large-scale initiative promoting youth mental health.

Global Success Story

BEA World Festival 2025 gathered nearly 500 entries from over 40 countries, with Norwegian agencies competing against giants like UEFA Champions League, Audi, Ferrari, and Adidas. NOSLEEPTILLBROOKLYN and Gjensidige took home six awards, including golds for Brand Activation and Roadshow.
“This is unreal — winning the world championship as a small creative agency from Kristiansand is beyond words,” said CEO Cecilie Fosselie.

Double Historic Win

The Grand Prix marks their second international sweep this year. Earlier, they dominated the European Sponsorship Association (ESA) Awards in London, taking Sponsorship of the Year and five golds for Pauserommet. Gjensidige was also named Sponsor of the Year at Norway’s SEP Awards 2025.

From Festival Activation to Mental Health Ecosystem

Originally an activation at the Palmesus festival, Pauserommet has evolved into a national mental health platform for young people, created with Mental Helse Ungdom.
“It’s an honor to be recognized for something that’s become an ecosystem for mental health,” said Gjensidige’s Head of Sponsorships, Stian Grøstad. “Together with an incredibly creative agency partner, we keep pushing boundaries — and that’s pure gold.”
